Welcome Yamila Abraham and Yaoi Press!

Otaku Mex proudly presents the creator of the Winter Demon and Dark Prince graphic novel series, as well as the publisher of the largest global yaoi publishing house in North America, Yaoi Press, Yamila Abraham!

Yamila is listed as “Guest of Honor” at Anime Central, Anime Expo AND Anime North, with guest appearances at other conventions. She also gave the Keynote presentation at Anime Expo 2007. Interviewed by Logo Network, and featured by the Anime Network, Yamila and Yaoi Press are no stranger to the spotlight.

Otaku Mex is honored to debut the title “Dark Prince Volume 3″ in it’s inaugural year. Come out to get your copy, autographs, and spend some time with the infamous Yamila Abraham and Yaoi Press!

What’s a convention without dodgeball?

That’s right, dodgeball.
Throughout the course of the convention, we’ll give you opportunities to get off your otaku and get your game on.

Dodgeball games will come in the scheduled and pick up varieties (in other words, there will be scheduled games at specific times…can anyone say Narutos vs. L’s?) and when the court and time permits, pick up games can happen…

AMV Contest Announced!

If you DON’T know what an AMV is, let us fill you in on a little something:
Anime Music Videos (get it? AMV…) have been around FOREVER but have really started to heat up over the last year. The talent that have been putting these things together has been nothing short of amazing.

Think you’re one of those talents? Prove it!

Our AMV Competition is OFFICIALLY open and taking submissions.

Otaku Mex is proud to have our very own NeoRose (AMV master in his own right) hosting this year’s AMV events (competition AND dance!). Find him on our forums, as well as all the information you need to submit YOUR piece of amazing to this years competition.
